DAILY COURIER - The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje rejoiced with the Muslim Ummah for the spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and devotion attained during the sacred month of fasting and prayers. He urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of piety, selflessness, and compassion, while emphasizing the importance of extending love and kindness to the less privileged in society.
“As Nigeria continues on its path of growth and development, I call on all Muslims and citizens to remain steadfast in promoting unity, peace, and national progress. The lessons of Ramadan—patience, sacrifice, and perseverance—are essential in fostering harmony and strengthening our democratic institutions,” Ganduje stated.
The former two-term Governor of Kano State also called on the Muslim Ummah and Nigerians at large to offer prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as it works towards overcoming the country’s economic and security challenges. He expressed confidence that Nigerians would not regret voting for Tinubu, as the president remains committed to delivering on his Renewed Hope Agenda.
Dr. Ganduje further commended Nigerians for their unwavering support for the APC-led government and reassured them of the administration’s dedication to improving the welfare and well-being of all citizens. He emphasized that the government’s policies and reforms were aimed at ensuring sustainable development and prosperity for the nation.
Once again, the APC National Chairman extended his heartfelt congratulations and prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) accepts the prayers and sacrifices made by the Muslim faithful during Ramadan, granting them abundant blessings in this season of celebration.
“Eid Mubarak to all Muslims. May this season bring peace, prosperity, and renewed hope for Nigeria,” Ganduje concluded.
