DAILY COURIER - Aare (Hon.) Tolu Bankole, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of Ramadan 1446 AH.
In a goodwill message, Bankole highlighted the significance of the celebration, emphasizing its essence of gratitude, renewal of faith, and communal unity. He urged Muslims to continue upholding the values of love, sacrifice, and devotion that Ramadan has instilled in them.
“Eid Al-Fitr is a time of thanksgiving, reflection, and communal harmony. It is a moment to extend kindness to one another and continue to uphold the virtues of patience, piety, and generosity that the month of Ramadan has taught us,” Bankole stated.
He commended the resilience and unwavering faith of the Muslim faithful who observed the fast with dedication, praying that the blessings of the season would bring peace, prosperity, and divine favor to Nigeria.
“As we celebrate, let us remain steadfast in our prayers for our beloved country, supporting the efforts of our leaders to build a more united, secure, and prosperous Nigeria. The lessons of Ramadan—self-discipline, compassion, and selflessness—should guide our actions beyond this season,” he added.
Bankole also reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to fostering religious tolerance and national unity, stressing the importance of peaceful coexistence in achieving national development.
“I urge all Nigerians to continue promoting peace and unity, respecting our religious and cultural diversities, and working together to build a stronger nation,” he remarked.
The APC chieftain concluded his message by extending his best wishes for a joyous Eid celebration. “Eid Mubarak! May Allah accept our supplications, bless our nation, and grant us continued peace and prosperity.”
