DAILY COURIER – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially launched the APC National PWDs Cash Support program, a financial assistance initiative aimed at supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) within the party. The program, which aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, underscores the party’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
The initiative, under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, reaffirmed the party’s dedication to ensuring that PWDs are actively supported and integrated into the party’s developmental programs. As all eligible party members are implored to participate in the nomination process to ensure that those in need benefit from the initiative.
The nomination process for the cash support program is now open, and party members are required to submit eligible nominees through the APC PWDs Zonal Leaders and APC PWDs State Leaders. The submission period runs from Friday, March 7, 2025, to Friday, March 14, 2025.
Speaking on the initiative, Aare (Hon.) Tolu Bankole, the National Leader of APC PWDs, emphasized the significance of the program in addressing financial challenges faced by PWDs. He encouraged party stakeholders and leaders at all levels to mobilize and ensure that deserving individuals within the disability community benefit from the initiative.
“This program is a testament to the APC-led government’s commitment to leaving no one behind. We urge all concerned members to take full advantage of this opportunity by submitting their nominations before the deadline,” Bankole stated.
Party members and stakeholders seeking further information have been advised to contact their respective APC PWDs Zonal or State Leaders for guidance on the nomination process.
