DAILY COURIER - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended former President Muhammadu Buhari for his unwavering loyalty to the party, following his recent reaffirmation of commitment to its ideals and progress.
Buhari, in a statement on Thursday, March 13, 2025, firmly declared, “I am an APC member, and I like to be addressed as such. I will try to popularize the party by all means.”
In a press release issued on Friday, March 15, APC praised the former President for swiftly dispelling attempts by certain individuals to associate him with political movements outside the party. The ruling party described his stance as a testament to his well-established reputation for integrity and statesmanship.
APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Esq., signed the statement, calling on party members nationwide to emulate Buhari’s steadfast commitment.
"The former President’s unalloyed loyalty to our great Party, the platform on which he was twice elected as President, has further reinforced his reputation of astute integrity and dignified elder statesman.
"We urge our teeming members to emulate President Buhari’s worthy example of loyalty and commitment to our great Party" Morka stressed.
The party emphasized that such dedication is crucial for strengthening unity and ensuring its continued dominance in Nigeria’s political landscape.
