DAILY COURIER - The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adavi Local Government Area has reinforced its commitment to grassroots mobilization with the commencement of a mini secretariat project at Inorere, Ogaminana Central Ward.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held over the weekend, was led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Honourable Ismaila Isah, who reaffirmed the party’s unwavering support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the leadership of APC in Kogi State.
Honourable Isah highlighted the strategic importance of the project, describing it as a modern and accessible hub designed to enhance party administration, facilitate political engagement, and strengthen mobilization efforts within the ward. He further emphasized that the initiative aligns with Governor Ododo’s vision of deepening political participation at the grassroots and ensuring effective governance reaches every community.
“This mini secretariat will serve as a focal point for party activities, fostering unity among members and expanding our influence within the local government. The project will be completed within a short timeframe, thanks to the unwavering support of Governor Ododo and key party stakeholders,” Isah assured.
Also speaking at the event, APC Chairman in Adavi LGA, Honourable Oyibo Barnabas, described the project as a strategic move to strengthen the party’s structure at the grassroots. He commended Governor Ododo’s leadership, noting that the mini secretariat would enhance political inclusivity and encourage more active participation among party members.
Echoing similar sentiments, Suberu Ahuoiza Khadijat, the Councilor representing Ogaminana Central Ward, expressed excitement over the development. She emphasized its potential to unify party members, boost political engagement, and solidify APC’s presence in the area. She also praised Honourable Ismaila Isah for his dedication to grassroots empowerment and thanked Governor Ododo for his unwavering support.
The event drew a large crowd of APC members, political stakeholders, and community elders, all of whom hailed the project as a significant step in strengthening party structures and attracting new members in Adavi LGA.
The ceremony concluded with the official groundbreaking at the project site, marking the beginning of a new chapter in APC’s grassroots expansion efforts in Kogi State.
