President Tinubu Tackling Nigeria's Challenges with Determination - Ganduje

DAILY COURIER - The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to addressing Nigeria’s challenges with purpose and determination.  

Speaking at the launch of the book 100 Years of Political Party Evolution in Nigeria, organized by the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Abuja, Dr. Ganduje, represented by APC’s Director of Election Management, Mallam Tasiu Mohammed, commended President Tinubu’s leadership. He described the President’s approach as one focused on strengthening democracy, fostering economic growth, and improving governance in the country.  

“President Tinubu is addressing Nigeria’s challenges head-on with unwavering commitment. His leadership is centered on implementing policies that will strengthen democracy, drive economic growth, and improve governance,” Ganduje stated.  

As the keynote speaker, Dr. Ganduje emphasized the significance of political party evolution in Nigeria's democratic journey. He noted that the history of political parties has played a vital role in shaping the country’s governance structure and democratic development.  

Dr. Ganduje, who also chairs the IPAC Centenary Celebration Committee, highlighted the importance of the book in documenting the contributions of political parties to Nigeria’s progress over the past century. He called on political actors to continue working collaboratively to sustain a peaceful and credible electoral process.  

IPAC, as the umbrella body for all registered political parties in Nigeria, has been at the forefront of promoting democratic values, electoral transparency, and political inclusiveness. The book launch and centenary celebration in Abuja provided an opportunity for key political stakeholders, scholars, and policymakers to reflect on the achievements and challenges of Nigeria’s democratic journey.  

IPAC's National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, expressed gratitude to contributors to the book and emphasized the council’s commitment to fostering dialogue and inclusivity in the political process.  

The event served as a platform to reaffirm the need for collaboration among political parties and stakeholders to deepen Nigeria's democracy. Dr. Ganduje, through his representative, urged political actors to draw lessons from the country's political history and focus on reforms that promote stability, unity, and development.  

The launch of 100 Years of Political Party Evolution in Nigeria marks a significant milestone in the documentation of the nation's political journey, highlighting the critical role of political parties in advancing governance and democracy.
