DAILY COURIER – The First Lady of Kogi State, Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians and the people of Kogi State, urging them to sustain the virtues of joy, peace, and love associated with the season.
In her heartfelt message, Hajia Ododo described the yuletide as a time for families and communities to come together in celebration and reflection.
“As we celebrate this joyous season of Christmas and New Year, I wish you love, peace, and happiness in your homes and families. May this festive season continue to boost peace and happiness beyond the celebration,” she said.
Reflecting on 2024, the First Lady expressed gratitude for strides made in empowering women, girls, and vulnerable groups across the state. She highlighted the administration’s commitment to creating opportunities that uplift Kogites and foster inclusivity.
“As we look forward to the New Year, I pray that it brings increased opportunities for growth, development, and prosperity to our state,” Hajia Ododo stated.
Emphasizing the importance of unity, she called on residents from Kogi’s three senatorial districts to work together across all sectors to ensure that everyone benefits from the dividends of democracy.
“This administration, led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, will continue to prioritize the welfare of Kogites by providing quality healthcare, education, improved infrastructure, and expanded agricultural initiatives to grow the economy and create more wealth,” she assured.
Hajia Ododo expressed optimism for the coming year, envisioning enhanced opportunities for development in Kogi State and across Nigeria. She underscored her administration’s dedication to fostering a state where peace, prosperity, and progress are accessible to all.
