DAILY COURIER – In a significant show of support, the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs has passed a vote of confidence on the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for its outstanding performance, transparency, and prudent management.
The committee’s unanimous decision came after a thorough oversight assessment conducted at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
During the session, the Committee, led by Chairman Distinguished Senator Allwell Onyesoh, praised the FRSC's accomplishments and reaffirmed its support for the agency's continued progress. Speaking on behalf of the committee, Senator Onyesoh commended the leadership of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed for his transparent and insightful presentation on the FRSC's 2024 budget performance, highlighting the agency’s efficient resource utilization and effective operations.
"The general agreement among all distinguished members is that the FRSC has performed exceptionally well and is deserving of the Senate’s full support," said Senator Onyesoh.
