DAILY COURIER - A tanker fell early Tuesday morning between the FHA Bridge and the Shoprite pedestrian crossing on the expressway leading into town, causing major traffic disruptions. The accident, which occurred around 9:00 AM, forced vehicles to divert onto the opposite lane heading toward the airport, causing traffic congestion in the area.
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials have been stationed at the scene with a crane in an effort to remove the tanker and clear the road. Authorities are hopeful that the situation will be resolved before nightfall.
