DAILY COURIER - In a move to bolster support for Nigeria's Super Eagles, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has purchased 30,000 tickets for fans ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against the Warriors of Zimbabwe. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Distribution of these complimentary tickets commenced at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 24, across various venues, including all radio stations, De Venus Bar and Restaurant on Stadium Road, Uyo Township Stadium, the Plaza Management Committee Office at Ibom Plaza, and previous sales agents and centers.
Fans are reminded that these tickets are free, and no one should purchase tickets from unauthorized sources. Entry to the stadium requires a valid ticket, and there will be no ticket distribution at the stadium on match day. Attendees are expected to maintain orderliness, adhere to seating arrangements, and follow organizers' instructions. All FIFA, CAF, and NFF regulations for international matches will be strictly enforced, with security agencies ensuring compliance.
