DAILY COURIER - Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has reiterated his administration's dedication to truth, dedication, and godly governance at the 2025 Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Service held in Ado-Ekiti. The annual event, a convergence of religious leaders and citizens, provided an opportunity to express gratitude to God for the state's progress and pray for continued peace and development in the new year.
The governor, in his address, highlighted the significance of unity and faith among the people of Ekiti, emphasizing that collective effort and divine guidance have been central to the state's achievements.
“Today, we gathered to give thanks to God for His grace and to reflect on our journey as a state. This service is a symbolic reminder of the importance of unity, gratitude, and faith as we step into a new year filled with opportunities for growth and progress,” Oyebanji stated.
Governor Oyebanji expressed humility over the commendations from religious leaders and citizens regarding his administration's strides in governance. He acknowledged their prayers and support, attributing the achievements of the past year to divine intervention and the collaborative spirit of the Ekiti people.
“None of these would have been possible without the collective effort, prayers, and the grace of God. As your Governor, I reaffirm my commitment to serving with truth, dedication, and the fear of God,” he affirmed.
The inter-faith service also served as a platform to intercede for the state and the nation. Governor Oyebanji urged citizens to maintain a positive outlook, continue their prayers for progress, and support the shared vision for prosperity.
“I urge all Ekiti Kete to remain steadfast in their prayers, speak positively about our state and country, and continue to support our shared vision for prosperity,” he added.
