DAILY COURIER — The Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mrs. Grace Adayilo, has felicitated with the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, His Excellency, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike (CON), on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
In a statement issued on behalf of the management and staff of the FCTA, Mrs. Adayilo commended the Minister's visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the development of the nation's capital.
“On behalf of the Management and the entire Staff of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), I wish to heartily felicitate with our deserving Boss, the Honourable Minister of FCT, His Excellency, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike (CON), on this special occasion of your 57th Birthday Anniversary celebration,” the statement read.
Mrs. Adayilo highlighted the remarkable strides made by the Minister in transforming the infrastructural landscape of Abuja since assuming office, noting that his efforts have set a new standard for governance in the FCT. She also expressed gratitude on behalf of the staff for his commitment to their welfare, particularly the recent payment of the National Minimum Wage, which included three months’ arrears.
"Sir, let me state unequivocally that the entire Staff of the FCT Administration are immensely grateful to you for prioritizing their welfare," she added.
Mrs. Adayilo further described Wike as a leader whose resilience and dedication have not only uplifted the administration but also significantly advanced the capital's growth. She reiterated the staff’s appreciation for his dynamic leadership and extended their best wishes on his birthday.
“Honourable Minister Sir, on this special day of your life, the entire Administration are indeed elated to say that they are pleased to have you as their Minister,” she concluded.
Barrister Nyesom Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State, has earned widespread acclaim for his hands-on approach to governance and transformative policies since his appointment as Minister in August 2023.
