DAILY COURIER - Jose Mourinho's first game in charge of Fenerbahce saw a seven-goal thriller ensue as the Turkish side won 4-3 in the first leg of the Champions League second qualifying round at Lugano.
Fenerbahce and the Special One were reliant on Edin Dzeko's hat-trick, but they had to do it the hard way as Lugano took a fourth-minute lead through Ayman El Wafi.
Dzeko then struck twice either side of half-time but Lugano equalised through Uran Bislimi. Ferdi Kadioglu restored the lead before Dzeko completed his hat-trick to make it 4-2.
Milton Valenzuela's stoppage time strike keeps Lugano in the tie as the two meet again in Istanbul next Tuesday.
