In her message to commemorate the event, she urged stakeholders nationwide to help girls achieve their dreams and excel in their careers.
Hajia Ododo emphasized the importance of empowering girls to realize their full potential, noting that this would address the numerous challenges affecting their development and sustain hope for a brighter future for girls in Nigeria.
"The girl child has consistently demonstrated remarkable courage and determination in her quest to uplift her family and contribute to society," the First Lady said, underscoring the vital role girls play in community building.
Since the Ododo administration assumed office, Hajia Ododo has led several initiatives aimed at empowering girls. These include promoting girls' involvement in ICT and vocational education, equipping them with skills and resources to succeed in technology.
