The party highlights the significance of this joyous celebration, urging all Muslims to reflect deeply on the virtues of devotion, sacrifice, selflessness, humility, and obedience, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, for the love of Allah.
The statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka yesterday June 16, emphasizes that Eid-El-Kabir teaches love, sacrifice, honesty, generosity, and above all, the fear of God. The party encourages Muslims to embrace these lessons and extend their support to the less privileged in society.
According to the statement, these time-honored virtues will continue to underpin the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in its efforts to enhance national unity, peace, progress, and development across Nigeria. The APC calls on Nigerians to continue supporting and praying for the success of the current administration, fostering peace, unity, and prosperity throughout the nation.
